Lace Footies
pattern: Padded Footies from Favorite Socks
needles: 2.25 mm (US 1)
yarn: Koigu KPPPM - little more than one skein
mods: I didn't double strand for the sole, and I added 8 sts to make it bigger. (It's for my grandma.)

I love the lace on the heel flap. :)
Anyway, as soon as I finished those, I immediately cast on for another pair of socks, this time for me. Never again will I be sockless! I cast on for Monkeys with the Koigu I had bought for myself. It's a lot bluer than I thought it would be, but it's so pretty! I love it.

They go by so quick!! I love this pattern. I kind of have this unwritten rule that I never knit a pattern more than once, but I may have to break that rule for this pattern. Cookie is a bloody genius.
As I have mentioned before, I do not practice project monogamy... so I also cast on for a Trellis. I'm nearly done with the first sleeve.
