And there was much rejoicing...!

Fittingly, I have finished my first Christmas present on the first day of Christmas.

Dalia's Scarf

pattern: just a seed stitch
needles: 8.0 mm
yarn: Brown Sheep (no idea what color... it's a beautiful teal though), 1 skein; Koigu KPPPM p122, 1 skein

The colors are much bolder than they appear in the photo (4:30 pm sunsets? wot?!) and are absolutely stunning. The simple seed stitch shows off the lovely yarn wonderfully.

On Thursday, I stopped by Downtown Yarns and came back with this:

3 skeins of Koigu, 2 skeins of Brown sheep, and 2 skeins of Baby Ull Dalegarn which will eventually be a hat for my friend.

I had an interesting experience at Downtown Yarns... I had been there before, but this was the first time I needed them to wind up the yarn for me. The girl working there wound up three and then asked me to wind up the other two, which has never happened to me before, anywhere. I was mildly confused, and while I do enjoy winding up yarn for some reason, I was perplexed. Is this common?

This will be another scarf, much like Dalia's, except not.

Anyway, I thought I'd share some of my other WIPs.

Here's the Scarf from Hell... it's blurry because there is a remote chance that the person it's for may read this:

Vintage Beaded Gloves (minus beads)

So little time so much knitting to do... Gah. I have to write a paper... and I'd so much rather just knit. Sigh.
